A few questions about Achill?

    Hey,
    A few friends and I are planning a getaway in June to Keel, Achill. There is going to be a group of 9ish people aged between 18 and 20 and we plan on staying there for 5-7 days. The problem is we are not sure how to get there from Dublin as we are gonna taking public transport.
    This is the first time were planning a trip so were kinda lost :)

    But if anybody has any recommendations on anywhere else to stay that would be great.

    Oh and what exactly would there be to do around the area during the day?

    train to westport and get the bus to achill, which goes past the bottom of the road. the bus wont let you off at the house , you need to get off the bus at the minuain view pub and walk up the road that runs behind the pub. the house is along that road on the right.
