    Have you ever stolen?
I once stole a dog with my friend one day when we were about 13 and we kept it for 12 hours and then we returned it to the owners and said we found it wondering a few miles from the town and the lady gave us a reward. I did feel very guilty after that.
I also used steal money out of my brother jar that used collect foreign euro coins in!

Apparently I've been stealing for years, I like to think of myself more as a pirate though.

    Yarrrr, a digital pirate matey.

I wouldn't steal a car, handbag, policemans helmet, sh*t in the helmet, give the helmet to his wife and steal the helmet again though.

Do it with a family member and you might get more money, and a prison sentence.

if you steal from individuals you are not my friend. robbed a lot of shít, down the years, from stores, grew out of it but i think 'kleptomania' is an affront for some kind of snide as it tends to know no bounds. they will even steal from 'friends', and it will have been an 'accident'. who can live with that; they be fixin to die imo

Yup used to steal a shitload of shite. Myself and my friend used to go into town just to see how much stuff we could steal from shops, we had our jacket pockets cut out so we could stuff everything into the pockets and behind our backs. Good craic, got free stuff, and nobody was harmed.

Yea, used to steal a load of stuff till I got caught.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10,898 ✭✭✭✭seanybiker

Took a mobile at a session once then felt so scummy I left it back where I got it. Had it for about 2 minutes before I put it back. Then one of the lads I was with took it. Made him put it back so nobody was none the wiser.

I accidentally stole a 20L tin of paint in Woodies once. Just walked out with it in my hand, through the checkout where I bought the paintbrushes.. while holding the paint... and nobody noticed. Only realised when I was in the car home and was too lazy to turn back and pay for it. Oops.

I've never stolen anything off somebody.. Picked up a leather jacket in Bruxelles a few weeks ago that wasnt mine (left mine behind, cursing,it was an awesome jacket!), only noticed when I got home cuz it was a nice night and i didnt put it on. It was a blokes one.. I'd had a few too many, no idea how I did it. Asked around in my group and nobody knows who it belongs to (if anybody does know, PM me, it looks like a nice jacket!!). I didnt wanna give it into the pub because I worked in pubs and people don't get stuff back!

Other than the unintentional stuff, i dont think ive ever stolen anything. Had stuff nicked on me many a time and it sucks so would never do it to anybody-including shops, because you might think that cheap thing you take doesnt make a different, but add em all up over a year and you'd notice!!

Stole a rabbit when I was young. Or would that be kidnapping? Rabbitnapping?

Neighbours had them in the garden that backed onto ours. I wanted one! Stuck a carrot in a plastic bag (thanks bugs bunny for telling me everything i need!) and tied a string to one of the handles. Lowered it over the fence, and in 2 shakes of a bunnys tail, I had a rabbit.

I did not think it through though, because as i mentioned, our garden backed onto theirs. If i could see their bunnies, they could now see I had one! Angry neighbour child saw the rabbit and threw a rock at my head, hitting me right on top of my head.

I can't remember what happened to the rabbit, as they had to take me to get stitches.

You can't say something like this and then not explain what you did with them!

...So, g'wan, what did you possibly do with two coconuts and a Chinese pregnancy test? And pics please.

Does it test for chinese babies only?

With the coconuts, did you stick em under your tshirt and pretend to be a lady? :)

    Master of the Universe

Stole loads of sweets and crisps from the local shop when we were kids. There was a blind spot in one of the aisles and if you wanted something you'd throw it in there and someone else would pick it up.

This all stopped one day when I grabbed a drink while strolling out of the shop ...shop owner ran after me and I was banned.

    I'm lovely really though.

What were you talking to the roll about?

I stole a Mars bar once, spent ages trying to pluck up the courage and went for it. Legged it with said Mars Bar and was dismayed to find it was all busted and damaged when I opened it:(.

Could hardly bring it back and complain could I?

walked out of a chemist with a tooth brush a few weeks ago by mistake, had it in my hand while paying for a prescription and just forgot.

Didn't realise until I got home, I'm sure they aren't crying about the 2 seeing as I gave them a **** ton of business over the last 2 years.

well before i begin...i'm prepared for some nasty repsones as i probably deserve them....
hav been in total financial crisis over the last 12 months to the point of eatin toast only for b'fast, lunch & dinner...i have a decent job and over the last 8 months i have been pocketin some cash that comes through the place a total of €1950...i was caught on monday of this week and I swear I feel my life is over...my boss has been quite reasonable about the whole thing...i went to the bank this morning and got a loan and repaid the full amount today...even so i feel like i've totally let myself down...this is not in my character...it was the act of someone in a desperate situation....i'm completely wrecked with guilt that if my family, husband or friends found out, i would have completely let them down and disappoint them in a way of no return.....i can't eat or sleep.
I would love to talk to someone who was ever in some kind of similar situation or if any of you can offer me some advice..

I've not been in your situation but it's safe to say I've known quite a few people with a similar story. You've repaid the money and suffered the consequences. If you are a good person, and even if you aren't, your family will probably support you. I would advise you confide in them before they hear through the rumour mill.
