Hey, was just wondering if anyone knows any good and relatively cheap PTs in galway? I'm a complete beginner and need an overhaul in diet and fitness. Getting a random gym membership but being uneducated in what to REALLY do once I get in there seems like a waste of 500euro. I'm looking for a PT around the 30e an hour bracket, I don't even know if thats good or bad, probably bad. Let me know anyway, I'd prefer somewhere central rather than outside of town in retail parks or knocknacarra.

Not sure if i'm allowed post this or not, apologies mods if i'm not! I had a session with D-gal last year and it was great, can't recommend him enough! Sorted out the big three compound lifts for me (Squat, Deadlift and Bench) and showed me where I was going wrong and how to fix them.

Ah the man with the awesome squat technique from what I can remember :D

Hope all is well and you should be squatting 140kg for reps by now :D

    Done

For everyone else interested I have a trainer working at my studio that will do stuff slightly cheaper than me but I am also trying to do some decent deals for people as well. Basically trying to work around people's budgets

    Done and done.

If people are looking for cheaper sessions I would also recommend doing buddy sessions. Personally I do not charge anything extra for bringing someone along. So if a 1 off session is €60 then each pays only €30. It might be less again with regular training sessions so it's a fairly affordable rate for most. Other trainers might charge a little extra but usually only €10 or so.
Might be an idea for anyone interested to PM each other and see can they find someone that has similar goals to themselves, it works out quite well for a lot of people

Thanks for the advice, you can do me a special deal for getting you these potential 10 new customers on this thread :p j/k Anyone interested in going halfs on a midweek session drop me a PM with what you want out of it, I'm looking to mainly gain arm, back , shoulder strength and bulk, need to lose weight and tone up but can do that in my own time as part of an over all goal I reckon. Once I get a few pointers of course :)

    Please help!

Seriously overweight female who is looking for "mentorship" to help her lose weight.

Tried weight watchers, motivation, unislim, slimming world, simply weight loss and nothing just works for me.

Would love to have a trainer who will do me up a food plan/exercise plan and someone who i can go to once a week or once every two weeks and get weighed in. I am pretty broke at the minute. most trainers i looked up were charging 50 euro eventhough i am not looking for an actual fitness class... just to be weighed in, motivated and encouraged to help me along the way. all i can afford for weekly meetings is 20 euro. does anyone know anyone who does this. thanks
