My Laptop is TOO UP TO DATE!!!

    I borrowed my friends Driver Theory Test 4th Ed. May 2009, because I have the test next Saturday 12th.

    I have a Windows 7 laptop and it wouldn't install for some reason.

    After reading the cd case, it says "Suitable for computers running Windows 2000, XP & Vista"........... :eek:

    Like, what the f**k......my laptop is too up to date!!

    Help!!

    Any way I can get it working????

    I could be completely wrong now, but I don't think that's the problem. As far as I know, the compatibility is usually written to include the latest edition of Windows, I believe. I'm sure the exact same disc is available in Eason's with Windows 7 written on it.

    Do you get any specific error messages or such when trying to install?

    Yeah I mean, I was kinda thinking the same thing, but that was the most obvious thing I could find so that's what I thought it must be.

    Nope the window came up asking if I wanted to Run it and I clicked it.

    Then the Administrator window opened up asking am I sure I want to allow this program access to my computer to which I clicked yes.

    Then, nothing. Nothing else happens.

    Just doing the same on my brothers laptop, also W7. And it's installing.

    It needs 200+ Mb space. I'm gonna free up some space and try again.

    If you don't have 200mb of available space, you're doing something wrong. The Downloads folder is a great place to start deleting large files.

    Right click the and hit properties then compatibility and run in xp mode.

    Bad workaround but should work :rolleyes:
