Building supply shops have 'tanks' that are fairly cheap.

Like the ones you'd find in an attic -

Generally around 30/40e for a decent sized one.

Where did you get that price from. Try multiply it by 4 then add vat.

If you want something suitable op get a bath. Will pay between 150-250.

If its outdoor you wont need plumbing and if your clever you can catch rain water.

Paid 40e for one in IBS in Dun laoghaire last November, use it as an aquarium header tank, picked up a few over the years and cant remember paying more than 40 quid..

They are just bog standard plastic ones, perhaps you are thinking of a more solid one?

I was thinking those plumbing supplies would be crazy expensive

Im thinking about just using our internal bath, and then just storing the water in a few sealable buckets etc. Atlantic homecare have sealable 50litre buckets. No idea of the price though...

    Maybe an old wheelie bin...

    Anyone else got anything?

Why doyou need to store the water?

you cant store the water if it isnt moving it will go stagnent and stink. thats why ponds, large fish tanks ect have pumps to keep the water moving

Try done deal you can get large containers on pallets for around 50€ or even large plastic barrels all going cheap as places are closing down
