Hype of Two Worlds - XGC - 19/3/2011 MvC3/ BBCS

Wheel of Hype is bringing in Marvel to create a new tournament of spectacular combos, massive damage and not a link to be seen.

This extravaganza will take place in Xtreme Gaming Cafe on Liffey Street.

Cost will be a €5 entry to the event and €5 for each tournament.

Provisionally, the Blazblue tournament will be held on PS3 and the Marvel tournament will be on Xbox.

The format will be groups into a top 8/16 double elimination bracket, depending on numbers/time.

Tournament will start at 13:00. Registration will start whenever myself or Voa gets there :P

Usual general rules apply.

In one tournament I got the following comments:

• You're the most defensive person I've ever played... I didn't know what to do

And of course the best one, on the main stage after making himself rage:

And this is only the start of my annoyance. Oh yes.

Might pop along and see if I can play, but low on cash so it's uncertain if I'd be able to enter both. I'd like to, but it'll probably be BlazBlue for me, even though I havent played since the last WoH. Which reminds me, I tied with Doombot ranking wise, does that mean Im tied 12th or am I just unlucky and moved to 13.

It's an average of the last 3(?) tournaments so it would depend if either of you got top 12 finishes before.

You'll notice a few top players languishing around the middle of the list as they haven't been consistently attending.

Ah it's okay Scavenger, it was both of our first tournament, so I was just curious. It doesnt matter a whole lot. :P Just unlucky about the D and L, eh? :P
