Yup It's on almost every day on one of those discovery chanels on sky.
Ive seen it on another sky chanel too down around the entertainment chanels.

Sorry I can't be specific (so many bloddy chanels on sky). Just search for it in the EPG if you have sky.

They are filming a new series shortly - in the USA! Won't be on tv for ages though.

Absolutely love the show, are Mike and Edd doing the US version, if not I don't know if I could watch it.
Its on during the day too, split into 2 episodes though. Only bit of decent daytime telly.
They did a mini today that was some pile of scrap when he bought it, I'd love to have the space to those kind of projects.

love that show, some craic with the two lads:) Mike doesnt half give Edd a hard time with some of the cars he brings him

It's on Living. I've it set to record every episode.
They've had some crackers on it in the past while. Easily one of my favorite shows.

ya great show but it annoys me sometimes to see how little they make on the car after all the labour put in to it

Brewer is in S.F. currently buying cars. The plan is to freight them back to Ed.

p.s. The profit/labour thing is old news. The idea is that Ed plays the part of you or I in restoring the car.

Jesus that yoke they got last night was shocking. €80 quid profit this time:D

I always feel sorry for Edd. He does all the work, then Mike comes along and criticizes him, takes the first test drive and then sells it for a tiny profit.

Edd is a genius though. I'd actually watch that show all day, every day.

Great show ... Girlfriend hates it :D

Really takes the mystery out of alot of maintenence work!

Good few tips in there too

i was reading, eleswhere, that Paul does a lot of the work, he is described as edd's technical adviser and its paul that posts the cars on ebay and he also sells parts

: Paul Brackley is the guy who uses his ebay account to sell the cars.

    Keep an eye on this:

to see if anything pops up.

Anyone catch last nights episode? They were fixing up a frog eye sprite.
Have to say it was probably in my top 5 favourite episodes. Loved the paint job. That little yoke looks like it would be tons of fun to drive!

It's on everyday on Discovery Shed in the evenings.
Edd is some mechanic, id say Mike could sell ice to Eskimos no bother!!
Anyone know what happened to Dick the sprayer in the early series? Now its Raj who does the spray painting.

Anyone notice in the 1st Series when Edd had the car finished, Mike would bring it out for a drive and poor Edd was left behind after doing all the work?
Im convinced Mike had him locked up like a prisoner.

One episode Ed was fixing up a Lotus, Mike took him to the track knowing full well Ed would never fit behind the wheel!
But the way things are going Mike won't fit behind the wheel for much longer either, horizontal expansion...

I have to admit I do find Mike quite annoying a lot of the time whereas Edd seems very personable. It's been going for a good few years now so the relationship obviously seems to suit them quite well.

After watching the impreza episode I am now totally convinced that they are the biggest heap of sh1t to ever come out of a factory, the mechanics are woeful and poor old ed must have spent a good two or three days at the turd of a car.

He is a bit on the portly side right enough.Thats what you get if you keep driving cars around all the time and too many pies:P

It does seem staged with them buyers though.

I like the programme, find Mike a bit of a joke though-"I'll just go there and wheeler deal him on the price and nab myself a bargain" then goes and pays full whack for everything. I also reckon a lot of their "restoration" is weelll dodgybodgy, a "full engine going over" seems to involve oil and plugs at best, and their bodywork is just plain amateur hour. The trade term for what they do would be "blowing over" a motor, ie tarting it up at least cost. Still like the programme though!

I've seen them a few times at the NEC now. Ed is very helpful chatting away to the classic owners giving them advice here and there. Top fella.

The point always raised by 'her indoors' and others about this show is why they don't factor in all of Ed's labour costs into the price. But so much of classic car ownership restoration is about doing it as a hobby, challenge and for the love of it. It's not really meant to be about saving money/making a few bob.

So the wheeler dealer bit of it is really a bit of a laugh.

I enjoy this show a lot more than bloody top gear at this stage.
