What Devices Can I Put the Meteor 3G Broadband Sim Into To Use Away From My Computer?

Thread title says it all really, can I get an old Android phone or Iphone and whack the Meteor Dongle sim in and browse away when Im on the road?

Yes you could do this. However you'd only be able to use the net, you won't be able to use the sim to send/recieve calls or texts, though you probably know that already

Yeah I know that, I still want to do it though, will it work in any device with a 3G modem or does it have to be Meteor or unlocked do you know?

did you get this to work? i'm trying to do this right now - meteor broadband sim in my HTC deside HD and using APN - broadband.mymeteor.ie but its not working

Nope, didnt work in my brothers sh1tty Dealextreme tablet, havent tried any other devices though, let me know if you have any success, Ill buy the first phone that confirms it works.

i put my sim into my sony ericsson c510 phone the other day was able to browse the internet on that.very fast aswell also.my APN was set to broadband.mymeteor.ie this should be working for you guys strange that it isn't
