    Guys,

I'm looking at getting a second hand rowing maching.

Can people please give me advise on brands/quality/price, what are must haves on the machine, what to look out for ...

    Thanks

If you can stretch to 6-800 (I think), try and get a concept 2. They're the ones they use in gyms and the absolute best you can get. Wait til someone else comes along to tell ya about mointors/models tho.

It's a big outlay, but it'll either last you forever if properly maintained, or you'll be able to sell it on for pretty much exactly what you paid for it a year or two down the road.

IMO the only one to buy is a concept 2.

Honestly this is one area where one company have the market well and truly cornered.

The point is that all figures for rowing machines are based on a c2 so if you have one you can see where you are at etc.

I think if lucky you could get a c2 for a bit less than €600.
