What do you hate about your Birthday?

For me its another nail in 'the oul football career coffin'.
I have come to despise the day where i get another year older.
I usually try not to say anything about said day, in the hope it will pass and nobody will take notice, but someone always ends up remembering!

No I got a tattoo and an ipod which was pretty nice, but then you do get some **** presents like socks Although I may need socks, I don't want them as presents! :P

I love mine but I sometimes wish it wasn't in mid July, everyone's always away so if I want to have a bash for it, it always has to be at the end of May or early June at the latest.

I am of mature student age soon yet I feel my life is over!

Unfortunatly I did the long relationship during my late teens and 20 & 21 years, so now when i want go out and relive those years I feel like a fraud

And my face has matured.. I don't get asked for i.d anymore

This year (last week)?

The last one of my 20's, to be 'celebrated' by signing on (such a depressing thing to have to do on that day). All this after I nearly KO'd myself on the way out of the shower.

....sorry but had a laugh at the KO mention lo , sorry ...

I had a simular thing happen me the night of my 18th,all dressed up ready to hit the local nightclub with my ID at the ready,I'd rehearsed it in my head over n over again lol no bouncer could stop me,not this night!!

....anyways, few early drinks at home with friends n family and I go to the freezer for some ice,bending down to open the freezer and i'm half turned talking to a mate as i reach for the handle,turn to face the freezer ready to rummage for ice....only i'd grabbed the handle of the fridge compartment (this is all happening in the blink of an eye)

so i'm leaning in,turning round and pulling the door open .....*WALLOP" I smack myself in the face with the fridge door,full force,I'm on the floor dazed n confused, i've bust my eye open,it's swollen to fook, i insist i'm going out ....get to the local nightclub and those bouncers who werent going to stop me with my legal ID took one look at me and sent me packing.....(i looked like i was out for a tear up apparently)


....so it ended with us heading into town so th enight wasnt a complete washout !!

I use it as a day to reflect on where it all went wrong. The day after my birthday is usually the happiest day of the year.

Honestly ,though I'm glad I was born in 73 coz I got to "grow up" (talk about contradiction) through the best of music times ...i.e. the 80's and then the Raving 90's (so my birthdays circa 1985 - 1999 were good) :pac::pac::pac:

Why? I was born in May and I hate my birthday...well...I would hate it if I was born in January, February, March...:(

It's just that you are getting older and they day, you will kick the bucket is coming closer.

Had my 3rd 60+ last month and it was uneventful as usual. Didn't even get a card from my No. 1 . But the one I remember best was my 50th when she and a few of her friends organised a party in the local for me - not a surprise - but because it was a gang of women organising it, I was terrified they would have ordered a kissogram or stripper. It was only going home time that I could relax knowing there was not going to be one.

At this stage my birthday is quite a non-event.
