Knee injury advice

Hey guys, not sure if I'm posting in the correct forum so if I am I apologise. Last summer I injured my latteral knee ligaments, nothing major, the physio told me I would miss 4-6 weeks of football. That was nearly 7 months ago and my knee still isn't healed after doing treatments and all the recovery training that he gave me. My knee keeps buckling on me from time to time, not even when I'm doing strenuous exercise. I've been back training with my football team recently but my knee went again on me last night when I was walking up stairs. My knee is fairly swollen again, pain on the outside of the knee, on the inside and the back of it also. When my knee buckles it is like the top part of my leg goes to the right and the bottom to the left. Has anyone got any advice or suggestions as to whst is wrong with my knee or had a similar injury?

Get a referral from your doctor for an x-ray and/or an MRI - get an expert to examine it and give you advice.

This is not something a bunch of strangersfrom teh internet can advise you on here - best bet is to seek advice from the relevantr medical professional. All the best.
