So after a few months of sitting on my bum I have finally decided to take some friends advice a pick up jogging. I went out yesterday for only about 10-15 minutes but I guess in my eyes its easier to start small.

However i am just after coming back from a similar jog and my left leg is feeling fairly strange. The pain is coming from the back of my left lower leg.

Does anybody have any idea of what this is that I am experiencing or any way to relieve it...?

Any replies will be much appreciated.

I have to close this thread. You're looking for a medical diagnosis and you might get a bad one here. If you're in any kind of discomfort that doesn't feel like "normal" DOMS (google it) then you should probably see a professional.

First off, well done on starting off, its always the hardest part !:D

Did you strech before and after the run ? It could also be that youre legs are just not used to it, and will improve over time !

At a guess, I'd say you didnt strech enough before going out !
