what lives these people are living you have to feel sorry for them

how come we only see the drug abusers and not the drug importers? or any real investigation on it, like 90% of the heroin is coming for Afghanistan i think it was around 20% before the American invasion

During the Vietnam War 80% of heroin was coming form the golden triangle

its a billion dollar industry makes you think

Or the best, depending on how you look at it. It must be some high if people are willing to destroy themselves to such an extent in order to experience it.

Because meth users are very vain.

Before they do some meth, they see an advert on the bus shelter and see how ****ty their skin will look an decide that they dont need a fix, the need a weekend in a spa in Galway

having been in Portland recently and seen the homeless problems there, combind with the climate and the poor surrounding areas of shouthern washington (vancouver, battleground, prerie bush and la center in particular) it doesnt surprise me that multhnoma(sp) county has such a problem with meth addiction.

That said, absolutely beautiful part of the world and the coty of portlabd itself is a really nice place.

As much as I hate to say it, it's only a matter of time.

Anyone with basic knowledge of chemistry can easily make this stuff. It's not even funny how simple it is.

All it takes is for some Leaving Cert./First Year chemistry college student to fall in with the wrong crowd and every Anto, Deco and Tommo will be selling it.

Based on those fine examples, it is now my considered opinion that alot of the old farmers in west cork and kerry are meth heads.
Jackie healy rae is one for sure.

They said a few years ago a big wave of crystal meth was inevitable over here and the UK but i've never heard of anyone with it, even though its apparently not hard to make and you dont have to import it like cocaine or heroin.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 476 ✭✭bc dub

fyi the ones with scabs on their faces are meth heads. the ones with sunken faces, are crack heads. the ones with neither a scab or a sunken face, are heroin addicts.

I lived near skid row in LA where these people frequent so I got to know who was doing what and what they looked like as they do it all out in the open and on the streets. some seriously mentally ill people just smoking, injecting and prostituting 24/7. there's no difference between 2am and 2pm Monday or Friday to people who give it their all.

Ireland has had it's problems with heroin and or junkies, but if crack gets big, its a whole other world. the scary thing is that I'm seeing a few crack heads in Dublin now and I've heard of it being used in certain areas. there's no methadone equivalent for crack!

I don't think meth will be big over here. simple fact is it's too difficult/dangerous to manufacture for the majority of people that would be into that sort of thing. ie; thicks.

Number 9 actually looks better after the drugs.
    So does 11.

#18 got a lot blacker. So the moral of the story is - if you're white, meth gives you a head like Hey Arnold! and if you're black, it makes you darker.

Wouldn't go that far. Although they do both change gender between their respective pix ( #4 male to female and #11 female to male )

To be fair, most of them looked like boiled shíte even in the before pictures.

I'd say when number 1 was young and drug free she was cracking looking :D

At whom are these ads even supposed to be aimed? "Don't abuse benzos or OTC painkillers or you'll end up looking like a 10-year tweeker?"

And where did you get the idea that patronising, shock-tactic anti-drugs campaigns work? It's not 1994 anymore.

It feels like there is insects inside there skin so they scratch, claw at the skin thus causing scabs.
