I cant find a thread that directly compares the 2 forms of creatine (without descending into a slagging match) so hopefully this can stir some decent comparisons based on actual use

Currently Im taking CEE ( the bulkpowerders one, 3 piils before and after) and find it good , main advantage I see is recovery from one set to the next , only reason I bought that over monohydrate is that I have been told the mono bloats you more

    So my questions are

1- which is over all most effective

2- which causes less of a bloat

3 - I read a statement that said " CEE gets processed so fast that its just an expensive pee ,mono is the way to go" - whats the validity of this ?

Ive used both and currently use mono-I used powders as theyre cheaper and Ive not noticed any bloat at all from it. its also tasteless unlike CEE powder which although ill stomach most gammy things it does actually taste like puke!

Ethyl Ester tastes horrendous but since taking it I have been able to lift more so works for me.

Have used both. Can buy them cheaply on myprotein. Mix the CEE with some grapefruit juice and it kills the taste of it

I think I am a non responder to creatine though. Not sure it makes much of a difference to me. Not sure how much of a difference it should make to be honest to somebody who is not training at an "elite" level where percentages can make a huge difference to performance.

    I would favour the MONO.

No issue with the CEE but taste wise it is very poor hence why in capsules a lot!:)

Plenty of good faq's on creatine.

One guy I remember who was playing rugby for Ireland at junior level - got the best gains I've ever seen from anyone - he'd literally add tens of kilos to every lift within a few days.

As soon as he came off - he was down in power within two weeks.

Don't ask me to explain it, 'cause I can't!

If all of us got these gains on it - we'd never not take it!:)

Highly unlikely and unbelievable. People saying things like this is what can give something harmless like creatine a bad name, making it out to be something it isn't.
