    hi guys
I just found porn on my computer , but not your regular porn , it's women having sex with dogs , uggh (I know it's vile), that's why I'm posting on here , it was in the downloaded folder , i knew it had to be my boyf so I asked him about it , he said he looked for a laugh as the lads were talking about and he wanted to see. Now I don't know what to think .

Thing is I found the same kind of stuff on another computer a few years back and asked him about it , I genuinely thought he may have stumbled upon it but he said he did it for a laugh , is this something lads talk about and do for a joke ?
Or is this just plain sick ? Should I be worried ? Just to add I brought it up about the last time I found it and he denies it , but I saw it in the history , please help I'm totally freaked out .

Maybe he's just being a little curious about this, it doesn't mean to say he enjoys it, personally I think it's gross to consider someone doing that act on an animal or an animal doing that to a human.but maybe he thinks it's gross too but was just curious to see what all the talk was about among the lads!

if he's looking by himself then run... very fast.

with mates its pretty normal, i cant remember how many times me and mates fell around to the "2 girls 1 cup" video and that was pretty nasty.

It's for a laugh I'd say. Us lads are an easily amused bunch of children sometimes. Next time you're out with him, point at a dog and say "nice arse on that, woof woof" and join the banter.

I really really really doubt that he has a sexual attraction to animals. So don't worry :)

It's probably for comedic value. DamagedTrax made a good comparison there with the 2 girls 1 cup thing. 90% of the people I know have seen that video, but I don't know anyone who watched it for it's sexual value (because it didn't have any). There also used to be a video going around of a woman having sex with a horse. Again, I don't know anyone actually attracted to horses.

I think there was something in the news recently about a woman having sex with a dog, him and his mates probably heard it and were like "woah, let's google this baby". They most likely spent half an hour laughing afterwards. Anyway, if he was attracted to dogs he wouldn't have vids of women with them, and if he likes to imagine he's the dog in the situation, he'd probably woof during sex. I'm pretty sure you'd have mentioned that. Don't worry.

For crying out loud, lads don't watch this kind of crap because they are sexually interested in animals themselves by and large, they get off on the notion of the degradation and belittling of the women involved. Pretty vile thing to do and support tbh.

To be honestI would think you need to talk to him about this again. If it was just a once of thing then fair enough. But you mentioned you found something like this before a few years ago. I mean how many times do you need to watch a woman have sex with a dog for 'a laugh' or 'curiosity', once is enough really.

    Yuck, yuck, yuck.
I'm a woman, and recently I found something on our computer that I lost the plot over.It was obviously my OH that was looking through it.Like you, I found the same thing on the computer several years ago and brought it up then aswell.
I won't go into the details of what it was - it wasn't animals- but it was something that I felt really breached the trust in our relationship and I did lose the head. We had a VERRRRRYYYY long conversation about it, and I basically said "it's me or it's that".Honestly, he was shocked to see the state I was in (I rarely, if ever, go in for losing the head), and a few things I said to him made him realise that something that had become a bad habit for him to dip into when he was bored and on his own in the house, was a much bigger deal for me.I saw the history dates on it, so I knew it was only the odd day every few months that he was doing this, but still.
Anyway, it's taken a few weeks, but we're back to approaching normal and have a few new ground rules in our relationship. So I suggest you do something similar. It may be just for fun but that's no reason for you to be ok about it. I don't know why he looks at it, nor do I have any suggestions. The only thing I will say is that if you're really unhappy about it, you need to have a serious conversation about it and explain how you feel.

As far as I'm aware, watching beastiality porn is illegal in Ireland.

hi guys thanks for the replies .
I can see where some of you are coming from saying my boyf was having a laugh with his mates googling this stuff but the thing is he was alone , I was away for the night .It's when I asked him about it he says the lads were talking about it, but he hadn't been around the lads for a while as far as I know ,so I took his reply as an excuse which worried me , Also he's not young or immature he's in his late 20's and quite mature , does this put a different spin on things ??

the late 20s bit doesnt matter. we'd still be looking at it and laughing our asses off at 60!

the watching it alone thing is odd.. maybe one of the lads sent it as a joke and hid what it was until your fella actually played the vid?

it takes a "special" kind of person to be into that stuff and im pretty sure you'd have realised something was off with him before now.

does he call you "his bitch" a lot? does he ever just growl at you for no reason? has he ever asked you to dress up as the girl dog from lady and the tramp? (who incidently, was a damn hot doggy!) ;)

i'd just leave it and ask him not to do it again. then ask him later in bed does he wanna do it doggystyle and watch the look on his face :D priceless...

Thats a load of rubbish TBH.

While I was in college, myself and some friends had a running competition to see who could come up with the nastiest porn out there, immature, yes, laugh inducing, you better believe it,not because we are into degrading women or anything even remotely that sensationalist, but because for the over whelming majority of the population, bestiality porn is nearly as wrong as it gets and for all of us it was all about trying to shock the rest of the group as much as we could.

OP,you said you found it on his home computer so he must have been looking for it on his own.In fairness, its not exactly something to look for anywhere else.

I would take him at his word that it was only a once off and was as he said, for a laugh but just tell him that you are not happy with him looking at stuff like that, even if its only for a laugh.

..and if it's not, it should be.

I must say I have a broad tolerance of people watching porn, and consider that it is generally harmless, provided the porn was made by consenting adults.

Bestiality however is just a whisper away from paedophilia, and I can't see how anyone would chose to watch it "for a laugh"; there's nothing funny or amusing about it at all.

Op, I think if you find this sort of thing to be offensive to the point where it damages your respect for your partner, then you have a serious issue to resolve with him. Don't let him duck the issue.

    Be at peace,

    Z

you are, of course 100% correct but society has become numb to shockvalue i think.

The truth is, unfortunately, some people are into this kind of stuff. Sounds like your boyf has a taste for it. Time to have an honest discussion, if he is willing to admit to this. Like most taboo stuff, he will most likely deny.

Let's think about this objectively, how is watching a consenting dog having sex with it's consenting owner worse than watching a prostitute have sex for money?

Anyway, from my point of view I can empathise with someone who occasionally likes to watch something like this. It's not that dogs are attractive in the least, it's more the idea that the female owner has projected her affection and need for contact onto probably the only companion she can rely on.

In fact I prefer to read the forums that these guys have, they love their dogs more than their partners. It's one of the most interesting things I've ever seen. I mean who couldn't be at least slightly interested in that?

To be honest, it's very unlikely your boyfriend is even remotely attracted to a dog. Man as soon as people hear of anything outside of normality they freak out. It's not a big deal in my opinion. These aparently normal fetishes people have for humiliation are far more disgusting imo.

Because a dog can't give informed consent any more than a child can

Did he watch the video on the net or did he actually download and save it?

If he downloaded it he can hardly say he happened on it by accident. Also it would seem to me that there is intent to rewatch it over and over again.

That was you. I was in college once myself when a similar topic came up while a group were watching 40 Year Old Virgin and a the topic comes up in the movie about a "show" in Mexico. We discussed this at the time, the general consensus was not that guys would be sexualy attracted to the animal, or even the woman engaging with the animal, that the sexual 'attraction' actually lay in what some people will do for money. A sort of 'how low will you go' element, cue all sorts of derogatory names for any woman or man who would do such things for live audiences/videos etc. If you see the posts prior to mine you will see what I was countering (i.e. the only reason to get off on something like that would be a sexual interest in animals)

So while this could be some sort of infantile 'competition' given the circumstances in the OP I doubt it. We could all sit back and say 'don't worry I don't think he's sexually attracted to dogs therefore it must be just having a laugh'. Perhaps he was just 'having a laugh' but there is also the strong possibility that something more sinister was going on IMO.

Not to say your bf is into anything strange, but in fairness, why would he actually download it?

I can understand browsing that kind of stuff for a laugh (to a point.. wouldn't be my thing but humour's subjective), but why would it be necessary to download? Why not just link his mates if it's for fun?

Agreed. It is going one step to far by downloading it - it is moving away from watching it to see what it is about or for having a lugh with the lads.

But it is entirely how you feel about the whole thing - it doesn't matter what others think.

Ah so because you and your mates did it for a laugh in college nobody else in the world could possibly get off on it? I mean, it's not like there's a market out there for this kind of stuff is there? Nobody actually watches it to get off. Is paedophilia the same then? Afterall, for the over whelming majority of the population child porn is as wrong as it gets. No market there so....

OP, if he's looking at it by himself when you're away having looked at it before, meaning he knew what was involved, then I'd be having a serious discussion on the matter. For me that kind of shít would be a deal breaker. Another poster has said his age is irrelevant and I have to say, I completely disgaree. Whatever about a curious teenager with his mates, your partner is a grown adult. Even college students doing it is vile.

Hi, apologies to mods could you please delete the post saying "update" , a friend of mine who I had told thought it would be very funny to post that post ,(I didn't know at the time they were posting it) so apologies again guys but that update post was not posted by me, but I assure you the original post is genuine .

Thanks everyone for your genuine replies I appreciate it . I have since spoken to my boyfriend again and he still reckons it was for a laugh so maybe it was , as regards to why did he download it, his answer is, he didn't know he actually downloaded it , as he was just watching it , but it actually downloaded as to which he didn't know .( That can happen right?) He actually didn't know it was in the downloaded folder untill I pointed it out .

However I do think some posters are thinking waay to deep as in regards to this being a step away from child porn (God I even hate to type those words ), I don't think for one second anything as deep as that is going on , We had a long discussion today and I told him I made a post as I was freaked , I asked him did he want to read this thread and he did , needless to say he went mad when he read the more serious answers like the ones I just referred to . Anyway I don't think this is something he will do again as I have made my feelings pretty clear , once again thanks for all replies guys it's great to be ble to get opinions form helpfull people when you need it .

I dont think people compared it to child porn to say that it was equally as terrible but more to point out that it is by definition an non-consensual activity and so is comparable to something like child pornography.

I dont think anyone was saying your boyf was equally as bad someone who watches child porn. Thats how I read it anyway.

I wouldnt worry too much OP, guys I know do this stuff all the time, its because they find it sickening and want to 'out-sicken' their mates for a laugh and its just a general curiosity for crazy stuff.

I'm a very open minded, easy going individual, but if my bf was watching this sort of crap i'd run a mile. It's scary how people think this is "no big deal". It's absolutely sick. Do you think the ISPCA would say ah it's okay??? There's some very disturbed people out there.
