    Hi Guys

I'm not a fan of machines but saw something on one of those infomercials the other night about an abs machine that works hips at the same time by placing your knees flat and swinging side to side. I had a disc removed and suffer with my hip and have been told that manual exercises run a greater risk of doing damage at the moment. I was wondering if anyone has any experience of this machine and do they rate it at all??
    Many thanks

IMHO ALL of thoes machines advertised on infomericals are all rubbish and will not give the results advertised.

As you have an existing medical condition (disc removed) then you should seek advice from a qualified Doctor or Physio/physical theripist as to what exercises would be suitable for yourself.

I would reckon that the small print would have which ever company sells this device covered in the case where you caused yourself any further injury, so I would not advise taking the risk.

Machines that scuplt the abs are typically gimics. They sell because they get incredibly fit people with super low body fat % to use them in the ad and you believe that you will look like that.

How often do you see someone with fat arms and legs and a perfectly scuplted six pack? never as well?!?

They almost certainly never used that machine to look like that. It was done the old fashioned way....good nutrition, resistance and cardio and long term comittment.

Get some proffessional advice from your physio. And try not to get swayed by the promise of free gold (or abs!) on tv.
