    hey all,

I think I know the answer to this already but...

I've got good definition and a nicely growing set of pecs but I seem to have flabby nipples  if thats possible. if I could explain it better it that the lower part of my pecs are a little flabby so my nipples hang a tad.

Something tells me lower pec excercises such as inverted bench, but I'm not sure, am I barking up the right tree ?

    Thanks
    Rob

The most drastic scenario is that you might have gynecomastia. I came to this conclusion from the way you have described this.

Other trains of thought might be that you need to drop some bodyfat.

:eek: No no no - they look nothing like the images I'm finding on the web for that - I don't have moobs, I have fairly well defined pecs, but what I do have is a small bit of skin sagging from the muscle to the top of my rib cage where my nipple is that's a bit loose.

While I suspect that it's a matter of bodyfat obscuring definition, it could be one of those cases which requires corrective surgery. Either way, you can find out for sure by getting your body fat right down and then you'll see if there is any change.

No need for panic - you're probably carrying a bit of bodyfat which when not evenly distributed and it rarely ever is can annoy you with a bit of flab here and there.

As was said - cutting some cheese is a good start.

Hit the gym a bit harder - do big lifts - deads, squats etc.

It might not be as bad as you think it is! :-)

I didn't mean to scare you, sorry. It was just worse case senario. Focus on youre diet, and possible reduction in bodyfat, and report back to how the situation developes.

thanks - I am at about 14% as it stands and am shocked people may think its moobs. I'll get MrsAMerc to take some snaps tonight to better describe it - it can't need surgery surely !

If it's not flab that's flabby, what do you think is?

14% body fat is high enough for you to have extra fat around your pecs - most people also tend to underestimate their level of body fat too. So you might not be quite as lean as you think.

Hey, at least your whole pecs aren't flabby like mine. Look on the bright side :) .

ok, this is them, not flexed or anything, just me standing about topless. the bits down round my nipples is what I am talking about.
    Is it flab ?
Any idea how I can work my lower pecs to get rid of it ?

not sure I need surgery for it.
