Recommend your best chest workout

    I need a new chest workout , stopped getting sore from the current one and i dont think im getting same growth as everywhere else ( could be genetics though )

    current weight 80kgs
    height 178cm

    Any constructive comment appreciated !!

    German Volume Training - Nov ->Jan

    10x 10's starting on 60kgs finished on 10x10 of 80kgs

    1rm 120

    Chest Dec - Now
    Bench
    Warm up @ 50
    1st set 10 x 80kgs
    2nd 4 x 110kgs
    3rd 1rm attempt - 130kgs
    4th 4 x 110kgs
    5th strip set 110 80 50

    Incline bench 4 x 4 @ 80kgs

    then either pec dec or cables

    Start with incline for a change of routine, upper pectoralis is the most under developed portion of the muscle in everyone. If you get 110kg for 4 reps, your perdicted max rep is 120 - 123kg. You seem very stagnant with youre exercises, vary it up abit.

    Soreness is not necessarily an indicator of progression/muscle growth etc.

    How are you gauging your progress?

    Is it subjective: you think your chest isn't growing in line with everywhere else.

    Or is it objective: your lifts have plateaued? Or your chest measurments have stopped going up.

    I'm not sure how much chest development you'd expect to see at your height and weight to be honest, so maybe you need to eat more?
