salt water flush

    hi just curious has anyone tried this???..and does it work???...more importantly is it safe to take in this much salt in one go:D????

    Bad idea. I don't believe in rationing salt, but this is a silly and potentially dangerous amount of salt.

    If you want to get your bowels moving, eat a meal based on beetroot and rhubarb.

    ok then thanks for the tip.....can i just ask why beetroot and rhubarb??? as in what makes them do the trick? :p

    They are both high fiber, and seem to have a fairly dramatic effect on the bowels. Beetroot is fun, because it makes you pee and poo pink, which is interesting.

    Remind me to ever go around to your house for dinner!

    Also, 2 tspns of coconut oil down the gobber does the trick for me when (which i never anymore really) constipated.


    Or a double espresso!

    Well, it's fun when it happens to someone who wasn't expecting it. Lots of screaming every time they go to the loo. Unless it's a child, because children want to experiment with it.
