    hi!.. im from Germany and im 21, i want to stay in dublin for 1 year and i need to get a health insurance to live here...

    do anybody knows the cheapest one?

    how much are they?

    This is going to get moved but anywho! I have 3 Germans friends who have German policies which give them full cover here & back in Germany! It's a little bit more expensive but when they really need medical assistance they go home & use a decent health system...better then being locked into a non entity of a system over here....

    ^ What Burkatron said is on the money.

    One cannot see a German policy that covers international travel being more expensive if even the same price as policies here.

    Yes, German health insurance to cover you abroad is probably your best bet.
    It's a little bit more expensive but when they really need medical assistance they go home & use a decent health system

    I would make the point that in most cases if someone really needs medical assistance there is no way that they will be able to get on a plane and fly to Germany.

    Poor choice of words...I meant for anything you'd be put on a waiting list for/doesn't require IMMEDIATE attention! Pedant :P
