Profemme shake/amino tablets

    Hi
    Has anybody ever use this.I have about 6 stone and a bit to get rid of.I started about two weeks ago I take a shake in moring and one for lunch i have no breakfast or lunch and then a dinner or somethin around 18.00
    and then dont eat after that now no waight lost on scals but can feel a bit in clothes.Geting no excise as live out in country with 3 small kids under 4 roads not great for walking hopeing to drive to a town at night and going walking when kids are in bed also started totake amino -or and amino energise.Getting very fed up with the way i feel and haveing to wear a tent for clothes to cover fat.i know it be a slow process any advice would be great in whats best way to go about this

    No expert, but IMHO I do not think this stratergy is healthy (as in providing all the nutrients a human body requires daily) or sustainable over a long period.

    IMHO you would be better modifying your diet so that you are eating healthy whole foods, but eating slightly less calories than recommended for a lady of your height and weight. This way you would be receiving the required nutrients from your meals. You would be losing weight at a slow, but healthy and sustainable pace. And you would also be promoting healthy eating habbits to OH and children.

    As for exercising, along with walking there are lots of things you could do in 15-20 minutes at home that would help you achieve your goals. You may get some ideas from the home workout thread or if you googled home workout I am sure you would find many ideas which you may be able to fit in if the children have naps during the day.

    Something that I have come across lately which looks intersting and it seems a number of folks on here are already following is Primal Eating. I am currently reading the book and it seems to make sense and is how I mostly eat any way.

    Just another option for you to consider which IMO would be healthier adn more sustainable long term

    Yes, you need to modify your eating habits, but there is research to show that replacing one meal a day with a protein shake does produce weight loss without any significant drawbacks.

    Profemme wouldn't be my favourite powder, but there's nothing wrong with it.
