Resting immediately after weight training

Is it desirable or important to rest immediately after weight training?
Would walking a couple of miles right after you finish impede muscle recovery at all?

I would say it depends, mostly on how hard you train.. and how much you've eaten prior to training.. Lots of guys will do treadmill straight after weights - to burn fat. Also if you needed it isn't too hard to bring food like a shake with you for your walk.

Yeah I drank my shake. Then got a donut and some sweets and a milkshake. No problem with that at all :9
The big hormone spike you get then though - I was pondering if walking [staggering] about would impeded that, or muscle recovery really. Dunno I dont remember seeing anything about it before.
