I would like to trade my scar for a l96 sniper but the sniper would have to be upgraded as well or i would want some cash balance.

hi what kinda upgrades do you have in your scar and whats the rof , fps ,range etc?

i have a custom painted l96 by agm not well

scope bought seperate cost over 100 on its own its an excellent scope

its has good range dont now the rof the fps is around 305. upgraded the hop, rebuilt the whole gearbox, new motor and stock upgraded to fit a 9.6 battery.sorry not interested in a agm should have said that at the start sorry.

yea here are few pics do u ave pics of scar? the hk33 is worth over 200 euro. it shoots at around 310fps with .20g bb's. ive had no problems wit it since i got it. comes with 1 mid cap mag, stick 8.4v battery and charger.

any reason for ur sale?

well mate i have a well l96 if u interested it comes with a 3x9x40 scope a gun bag and faris bi-pod id be looking for money instead of trade do im letting it go cheap €130 ono for the lot. i only got this gun recently off a mate he never used it but i dont know if theires any upgrades or not

I have a L96 OD green Shooting New spring 320fps with 0.2g bb's, 6.01mm tightbore inner barell. PDI hop up. 3mags. Bipod. M3 replica 3-9 power scope with Sun shield. The upgrades imporve accuracy. Very consistant fps and hop up.

Can you put up some pics. Thats a whole lot of upgrades, And I got to ask Why?? I've done a lot repairs and upgrades over the years. The Dboys scar stock Internals are more than Capable except the occasional dodgey hop up rubber. The dboys SCAR comes out of the factory shooting at 350 to 370fps and in ireland could be no more than 328fps,so the stock gearbox would have no problem with 305fps. But since you did it the work I've got a few questions for you. How old is the SCAR. Upgraded the hop up? is that a totally new hop up unit and Hop up rubber or just the rubber. Is it the stock Inner barell? Inner barell I my experance is one of the few upgrades actually worth doing. "rebuilt the whole gearbox" What did you do? what parts if any were broken and replaced? Did you wreck the original gearbox that it had to be "rebuilt"? New motor, again why and what make is the new motor. If it was to increase ROF. Did you upgrade the wiring, add a fuse? what does "stock upgraded to fit 9.6 battery" mean. What was done Did you cut out some of the internal structure of the stock. Did you have to split the stock to do this? Does it now take a mini or large 9.6V. And finally Did you do the work yourself? Sorry for all the questions but I like to know what i'm buying or trading. I'd be interested in a trade depending on your answers. A full inspection, chronoing fps and test fire. Cheers

I'll see if I get a trade of an l96 first then if not I'll get back to u sorry and reason for sale is I'm not really into the run and gun type I'm more of a sit back and wait that's why I'm trading for a sniper.

Na its grand sure u have a right to now what ur buying or trading.
I did that because the old internals where 2 years old and the barrel is the only thing now thats 2 years old internaly that and the externals are 2 years also .thats why i did up the gearbox and its just the hop up rubber that i did up.in the geat box has the stock tokyo murui spring and piston set and new gears newly shimed and the motor is just a standard new motor forget the make and no they wherent done by me there where installed by a techy.i was going to get a tight bore barrel but never got around to it and was happy enough with the accuracy proformence from the standard barrel.the barrel has been upgraded by the 3rd stock setup makes the stock longer then the set up normanly so it can fit a 9.6 mini with no problems then u can ajust the stock to anylength after u have the battery in. if u have anymore questions just ask and can i get pics of the l96 and what make is it and is the range longer then a aeg on it and do u have any problems with it

Thanks for the reply but I'm no longer interested in a trade. and since you asked I'll answer.
No problems with the L96, Its Maruzen, The L96 is very consistant with a tight grouping and a good flat trajectory. The range is limited by the , the fps 320 and weight of the 0.2g bb same as every other airsoft rifle and to small extent by length of the barell which is 495mm (not overly long), compared to Say a Steyr 550mm.
An L96 shooting a 0.2g bb at 320 fps has basically the same range as a AEG shooting at 320fps with 0.2g bbs only the aeg can shoot semi and full auto.
Just because it looks like a sniper rifle dosen't make any difference. Anyone claiming that while stayin within the Law and keeping it under a Joule, they can consistantly hit head size targets at 60-70+ meters with their stock or even upgraded clone airsoft L96 or japanese L96 are talking crap. Ask them to prove it and they'll quickly disappear. Airsoft sniping is about a different style of play, You take your time. when you only have one shot you make sure your goin to hit. Not having 600 rounds and full auto forces you to change your style of play. If you think you'll be shooting targets far outside the range of their aegs you'll be dissapointed.

There's a diff ris on it now but would give the s-system 1 along with it, the aimpoint is sold and the sling, pmag, grip dont come with it. have a barrel for it may have a hopup unit over the next few days and have a new bucking for it. have the box and manual for it and its hi-cap mag.

Apart from it needing a new hopup unit it works perfectly
