I guess that's because emergency services are still at the scene.
There may be a bit more info on the 11 o clock news.

RIP. Can anyone explain to me why a landing would be attempted on RWY 17, then a go around and then attempt RWY 35? Isn't 35 the opposite end of 17?

Yes it is. May have looked less foggy at that end as it's over a mile away. If there's no wind which there wouldn't be in fog they could land at either end.

3 dead, 2 still trapped in the plane. Hopefully the death toll doesn't rise above 3.

    Terrible news! RIP

According to Sky News, aircraft crashed on its third attempt to land?

RTE News saying 8 dead *

    * Now saying more likely 3 dead with 3 to 4 people trapped and the remaining have been brought to hospital.

WTF is wrong with the muppets who update the Sky News website?

The main page says 8 have died, but when you open the story, it is reporting that 3 have died?? Shoddy journalism.

Anyway RIP those who have died.

I heard on a news bulletin earlier that it was Spanish owned and was a leased aircraft.
