Running on Treadmill ... Question/ Advice

    Hi

Firstly a huge thank you to everyone for their advice and recommendations on getting runners .... I got a pair of brooks from runways and they are great ... so far.

However I have a question ... so I ve started running on the treadmill for 10 mins and find the outside of my feet start aching after 7 / 8 mins .... is this because I am new to running on the treadmill, is it the runners, or should I be doing something different.

I know some people are 'built' for running and maybe I'm not .. but can this be overcome in time?

Just wondering if anyone has any advice / thoughts .... I asked of the guys in the gym and he said change your runners!!!!!!!! ..which Im not sure is the solution or maybe it is??

Thanks again for all your feedback to date!

    :)

It could be the runners not supporting your feet correctly, or it could be that you are new to running. Are you training long?
