Anyone know why they are cutting all the tress on the M4 between Leixlip & Kilcock down. Do they not help against noise? i read somewhere that the road should have been resurfaced years ago & this is the cause of the excessive noise.:confused:

they seem to be only on the south side of the road, and methinks it is to help ice to melt during the day, as that side of the road was often in shadow during winter times!
