The laws of After Hours

Someone briefly mentioned on a thread recently that someone will disagree with the OP within 6 posts on AH.

I have since noticed this to be surprisingly accurate. On pretty much every subject no matter how water-tight the OP's point is, someone will have to contradict it within 6 posts, or if they can't, make a petty semantic point about how the opinion was expressed.

What are the other unwritten laws of After Hours?

    Godwins law.

As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1.

As does the probability of mentioning steak, blow jobs, coke and hookers.

First reply is blatant thanks whoring.

Dunno if it's a rule or not to include puns but they have overstayed their welcome.

I don't think that's true and, tbh, your superior attitude is off-putting.

Any thread about wanting to have sex with someone and asking for AH advice on how to approach the situation will contain a Feeky reference.

Someone will think they are absolutely hilarious by making a comment to do with Fianna Fail, Mary Harney, or the state of the government.

It happens on almost any thread, no matter what the thread is about. Its like Goodwins law, except instead of Nazis, its fianna fail.

    ...someones going to do it.
