Getting my degree grade changed?

I got 61% average in my business studies degree (accountancy stream) five years ago. At that time to get a 2.1 the requirement was either 62% or 63% overall average, so my overall result was a 2.2.

I didn't bother getting anything rechecked as I knew I would have to come up with at least an extra 10% in a subject to bring up the overall average. I have now heard that for a 2.1 in the accounting degree that GMIT offer, you need 60% overall average.

I have been applying for postgrads and it would be better if I had a 2.1 to put down than a 2.2. I'm just wondering does anyone know if I could get my degree recognised as a 2.1 now that they changed the requirement and how would I go about this.
FYI I got my transcripts last year and the subjects and marks are all broken down and at the bottom it says overall result 2.2

There is a short period of time after exams where you can get your transcripts rechecked, as far as I'm aware of after that time your out of luck regarding getting anything rechecked.

If you got your transcripts last year and it says 2.2 then that's the grade you got and nothing can change that.

Is it an accounting masters you're thinking of taking?
If so you may want to bear in mind that you may have a limited timespan in which to avail of professional exemptions from 5 years ago till you actually finish all your FAE's etc.
