Cracking back...

    Hey guys.
This is quite a strange problem, but I'm wondering if anyone knows any exercises or something I could use to help... or if anyone else is like this.
Due to the fact I'm quite tall, I tend to slouch a little bit to keep my head around the same level as others at times. I don't notice I'm doing it but when I do, I straighten up. After a while, this built up and to straighten out, I would bend my back backwards a little and squeeze my shoulder-blades together. Once, when I squeezed, it made a really loud crack.
Now, I'm doing this every day, maybe 3 times, and every time, the crack is so loud, it could easily be heard in the next room. I'm getting a little worried it could lead to misaligned vertebrae because I did it again just moments ago and there's a slight discomfort in my back. Not painful, but it could get worse. It could be gone by the morning, but it's still there for a reason, and I can't stop doing it! If I stop doing it, I can really feel it building up.

Anyway, would anyone know of any exercises I could do to maybe strengthen up my back? I'd imagine stronger muscles there would tighten it and protect it a little.... I'm hoping to go back to college next year so I don't think I could afford a chiropractor.... lol
Any advice would be much appreciated!!

You're looking for medical advice which people on here can't give you. I'd suggest you see a doctor.
