Windows 7 - Blank Screen before Login? Please Help???

Hi Guys, Just wondering about this problem I have. I get a blank screen before the start up. Safe mode doesn't work. I can hear the windows start up noise but nothing happens. I think its something got to do with resoultion because I was on the laptop and the resolution went funny so I manually knocked off the laptop! Any…

Hi Guys,

try selecting safe mode next time - [edit] what do you mean not work, what do you see ?
press F8 etc

if you see nothing at all then it may be the backlight , try connecting a monitor to the laptop
