Effects of fat on blood vessels?

Just had an all day session on stress management, and it briefly touched on food/nutrition.

The tutor show a small clip about the "blood being clogged up after eating fat". Appears to be an old clip - probably filmed about 30 years ago (it was filmed in black & white, presenter appeared to be a younger version of Oprah and the "Dr" was some young guy with lots of hair).

First part of the clip, show the particles in blood vessel moving freely. Next part of the clip showed the "affects of eating lots of fat" had on blood vessels - particles were extremely sluggish in moving in the blood vessels.

I'm not able to track down this video clip.

Now, I'm tad a bit curious about this:
Q1) By having a really fatty meal, it'll "clog" up your blood vessels quite rapidly.
    True or false?

Q2) By having any kind* of meal, it'll "clog" up your blood vessels quite rapidly.
    True or false?

    * eg high carb, or high protein, etc.

False. There are so many things with this I don't know where to start.

Okay, I'll start with the fact that your body is not a car, and if you put in the wrong kind of fuel, it seizes up. Your body is extremely good at digesting what you eat, and taking what it needs (fat, sugar, sodium or whatever) for immediate use and storing or disgarding the rest. Just because you eat a high fat meal does not mean that you have high fat blood.

Second, the idea that fat is a useless or even dangerous anti-nutrient is so out-of-date, it's not even funny. Your body needs fat, including cholesterol, and if you don't eat enough, your liver will make more.

And we won't even go into the whole issue of triglycerides being far more closely correlated with your intake of refined carbs than meat or fat.

Whoever gave you that session on stress management and diet/nutrition needs to be spoken to/sued/put down.
