I've consciously looked at many food labels in recent weeks in the hopes of finding a product that contains this horrible substance. No luck so far. Is it not used very much anymore?

What types of common foods contain hydrogenated fats?

There is no legal requirement for any food manufacturer to list this ingredient and they have fought very hard to keep it that way.

Avoid foods with anything with hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated in the ingredients list

    Also: -

any fried food (all fast food)
    margarine
commercially manufactured baked goods (crisps & biscuits etc..)

I believe that bertolli Olivio spread is virtually Trans fat free.

Im on and off a keto diet which is no carbs and you burn fat instead for energy.
Is frying rashers in coconut oil with an egg and salad every morning a bad thing?
Im not clued in on colesterol or different types of healthy/unhealthy fats.

You will probably find it in cheap microwave popcorn and cheap hot chocolate
