Thas right after 12 months of trying to sort this we finaly have and By March we will no longer be at the side of my house we will be moving to a nice big 2,000 sq ft warehouse on the Ballysimon Rd in Limerick (300meters from the NCT centre)

As this is a club and not a commercial gym we will have limited opening hours and we are open to anybody, male or female, young and not so young who want to give the sport a try

We have some great kit you wont find anywhere else such as monolifts, car deadlifts, power stairs ect and all the usual strongman kit circus dumbells, atlas stones, various sized logs, farmers walks, super yokes, conans wheel, squat press, viking press, husafeld stone, axles, power blocks, tyres, sand bags and a whole lot more

We also have a few machines, lat pulldown, legpress ect and 3 power racks, punch bags, plyometric equipment ect.

If you have been out with us before you will know the gear we have. Hopefully we can help out alot of people who want to try strongman.

This is a club so we want to help anybody who wants to come and join. We also welcome people fro outside Limerick who want to give it a go or join us for some events on a Sat or Sunday.

I will let you know more when i know more.

Just had a look at your facebook page mate.
You have a serious amount of kit in your shed.
It'll be a 'fun' day moving all that kit!:D

Are you making some of this stuff yourself?

The new place will be 3-4 times the size of your shed?

Hope you get a lot of help with the move. I helped with a few gym moves (they had to be all basement gyms!), amazing how scarce people become when moving day arrives!:D

Best of luck with it all mate!

With regards paying to train as this is a club we have not yet fixed the price 100% but we are thinking of €15 a week or €10 for an events day on Sat or Sun

We will put all the money from members back into equipment with our first priority to get more plates and a nice set of dumbells

We will be open eithr 5-9 or 6-9 every evening and 12-6 on sat and sun for events.

Anybody can use the facility strongmen, powerlifters, rugby, gaa, mma we are not fussy as long as you want to use our equipment and are respectful of our gym we are happy to have you as lot of other sports persons want to try out our equipment for there sport.

You dont have to compete as a strongman either you may just want to do it as a hobby or test yourself every so often.

We dont as such teach strongman but we want people to come along and fall into out training groups and learn of more experienced guys. We will have 2 WSM athletes coming over soon to run training seminars and show technique ect.

To answer a question from above we have Stones various sizes, im not sure of the bus route but i will try to find out

Our dumbells arent the best set a bit rough and ready but go up to 90kg each if needed. As i said we need to get a new set when we have the money but we also need alot more plates so they are priority no 1 to start with we have currentley 700-800kg in plates to start with so its not so bad.
