I am currently taking the liquid high strength seven seas cod liver oil (product info here).

I'm taking 2 tablespoons per day.

There is no vitamin A as is listed on the other seven seas cod liver oil.

How does this stack up against the competitors?

Cold fermented CLO is the best. Heat-treated CLO (like seven seas) has the vitamin A replaced with a synthetic version. Synthetic A is what caused birth defects in the children of pregnant women causing a recommendation to avoid all vitamin A while pregnant.

    I buy this:

It is really pricey, but it lasts for ages (I've had mine over 3 months now) and as it is a food, not a supplement all vitamins are in their natural form and correct proportions.
