Depends on when the department want to release them. You should have them back before the end of February though.

I'm waiting on my 3rd year results too *bro fist* Good luck!

It changes every year really. I rememebr the music dept's results were out suprisingly early in 2007/8 then quite late in 2009/10.

    History is usually late:(...

    Fianl year already...

    CRAP!...time to attend lectures!

We were told in our thesis group yesterday that all the Sociology exams are corrected, so they should probably be out soon enough! O_O

The Geography Dept. said they won't release the results until March 6th but they usually end up giving them out a few days before hand. Yea history ones are usually the last to be given out

History is down for February 14th. However, 15th, or 16th would seem more likely.

EP101 results are up on the board outside the first year labs! First class honours for me. :)

Congrats Daemos, that 63% is class ^__^ and don't worry about the other one; you've already passed it by compensation.

    Here we go....

    59 in EN351, 50 in EN353, and 40 in EN356 :D

I know they may seem like shyte results to a lot of people, but they are a hell of a lot better than I did last year (: I EVEN PASSED FILM!

    \o/

How does that work? I know the basics of it but not fully. Something like if you fail one module by only a few percent and do well in the other one you cat get points transferred from one to the other? I emailed my lecturer and he said the department would be sending out an email for "anyone in my situation" so I assume that's what he's talking about.

And congrats on your results too :)

I only know my German results so far, 79% in GN110 and 49% in GN111 :D:D:D

    I just really hope I don't fail music :(

You can only pass by compensation in certain situations and it does not apply until after you get your summer results! The rules are on the Exams webpage under the section Marks and Standards.

Simply you must pass all of your required modules these are modules you have to get a minimun 40 percent in and then you must pass half of your credit value, then you have to have at least 25 in each module and an average of 40 overall for compensation to work.

Hope this helps and well done!!

    :(

    Well done! I'm delighted with my German too :) 76 in GN310, 70 in GN312A, 70 in GN316 and 79 in GN311A.

Media was great too.. 66 in MD303 and 70 in MD311..

Still have one media module result to go.. crossing my fingers so hard!

I'm excited because if I get similar results this semester, that's a 1:1 degree :D:D Getting my head down for sure :)

I've gotten 68, 58 and 52 so far. Not very happy with them, but they're passes, and I'm still in First Year, so...it doesn't matter that much?

Got some great feedback from some of my lecturers, so hopefully I'll manage better next time. Not leaving essays 'til two days before the deadline would also probably be a good start! :pac:

Great results from the rest of you! I see that Boards isn't a terrible distraction for you lot! :p

Exactly, first year percentages don't really count.. it's either pass or fail! Second year on and it's a bit more important :) And sure isn't first year about having fun etc?

And those are still pretty good results! :)

I'm worried I might need to avail of this for one module... I'm also worried I won't be able to!

63, 62 and 57 in my english exams, oddly did best in the one I thought I'd messed up and worse in the one I was happiest about. Still works out as over 60 so thats good

Nope, mathematical physics. I had an inexcusably bad performance in this particular module all semester.

CS141 results should be given out in the next couple of CS142 lectures, for anyone who didn't know.
