    Just talking here about doctors visiting for some kinda health check when we were in school but can't remember why. Can anyone jog my memory?

    For scoliosis? Curvature of the spine? Although that was usually done by nurses.

    Discuss - I am gonna ask you to be patient in the forum change. A lot of people will think this is a forum geared towards health issues of all sorts when it's not. If you need to reply, maybe you should actually post something insightful or useful for the OP??

    OP - this forum is geared more for exercise and nutrition so you may not get loads of useful replies to your query. Maybe people in the health sciences forum might know more about it?

    Not sure about now, but back in my day rolleyes.gif there was a health check when you were in 6th class by the public health nurse. It was just sight and hearing tests and I think they checked your gait (i.e. if you'd flat feet or not), don't remember much else.
