    Hi all,

Can you pls give me some info re. the unislim plan and any results/feedback you have.

I've been a member of ww since aug last year and have lost 23lbs with 10lbs still to go. I travelled for half an hour to the class as the leader was so good but now she's left and I'm struggling to find a leader who's class I actually enjoy. There is an excellent unislim leader in my area but I'm nervous of changing plans... I'm still getting to grips with the pro points plan so now might be a good time to change.

    Thanks in advance.

Both weightwatchers and unislim operate on a points system but the method of calculating is different! So you would need to be careful when discussing points with weightwatcher friends or when operating on what you remember.

That said it is the leader that makes the classes worth going to, if the leader is no good you might as well follow the old plan from home and get the recipes from the website. If you feel you really need the classes to keep you motivated then you need to either find a good weightwatchers leader so that you can continue towards your goal, gold membership and free classes or take the gamble and switch to unislim. Most classes let you attend for free once have you gone to the unislim class to see if the leader lives up to her reputation and more importantly suits you?

Good luck whatever you decide. :)

You could continue following the WW plan, but just go to the unislim leader for motivation? Most of what she says will probably be general anyway.

Are there any good Slimming World leaders near you? I'm doing it at the moment and much prefer it to WW.

Thanks for your replies chuckles and moco.
I went to the Unislim class tonight and the talk from the leader was worth the visit. The current plan is actually quite different to the ww one as there are no longer points/units so I'm a bit anxious. Saying that I'm going to give 100% this week to weigh (pardon the pun) it up and if it's not for me then I will do as you say moco and follow the ww plan but attend the unislim class.

    Thx again.

MarinaV - how did you get on with Unislim? Did you stick it out or go back to ww?
I was a gold member of WW, but found maintenance too hard, ended up putting back on the 3+ stone I lost, disgusted with myself!
Went back to WW a few times, but mentally, i felt like I knew the plan so well, that I could be teaching it, but out of class, I just wasn't in the head zone to follow it.
I joined Unislim 4 months ago, and have lost 2 stone so far. Still a little bit to go, but finding it dead easy. Its basically cutting the crap - no pointing. 3 healthy meals a day - bulking up on free foods (veg/lean meats/fruits), no processed food, and curbing the carbs.
loosing weight a lot faster than i ever did with WW.
Just curious as to how you found it?

    I think it's all a scam.
