    Hi everyone! Just looking for some advice!!

    I started dieting on the 27th of December, started exercissing on the 5th of January. I have been doing the couch to 5k with 2 weeks. I have also joined unislim and have had 2 weigh ins. This is my problem I lost 1lb the first week and another pound this week. Im going with my 2 friends and they have lost 2-3 pounds each week. They are only walking 3-4 days a week where as Im doing c25k 3 times a week and walking/jogging the other 4 days? Im still very motivated but it is a bit disheartening when my friend tells me she had 3 sausages and 2 slices of white bread when I havent even put a slice of white bread near my mouth in a month now!

    If anyone can offer any advice I would appreciate it!

    You don't eat white bread? How many slices of brown bread are you having?

    Doesn't matter white/brown, it's all calories.

    1 lbs/week lost is not too bad. If you want to lose more, create a larger deficit by eating less and/or exercising more

    Thanks for reply! Yes i eat brown 2 slices max a day sometimes I dont eat any. Is 30 mins 7 days a week not enough? I do an hour of zumba too once a week. I must be doing something wrong its frustrating !

    You're not doing anything wrong, just not enough.

    30 minutes of jogging would burn what, 250-300 calories? 1 doughnut.

    How many lattes are you having ? Snacks?

    Ya thats true and Im not even jogging for the full 30 mins (doing c25k so building up to it) so probably burning less. Funny you mention lattes as I was addicted to the nescafe ones but ive only had 2 since i started at the end of December. As for snacks the majority of the time its fat free yogurts or a 15g bag of salted popcorn which id only have around 3 times a week and once a week then maybe ill have a bar of chocolate.

    Good idea Random:

    Today was an unusual day as I was out with my mam so it wouldnt be my norm.

    Late Breakfast/Lunch- Chicken/bacon salad with dressing. The girl in the hotel told me that the dressing was homemade with olive oil, cider vinegar and it wasnt soaked in it either. cup of tea-1 sugar-probably full fat milk as was in the hotel.

    Again was home late got my 30 mins c25k in collected my son so only had a brown bread sandwich filled with chicken breast, very little butter and helmans extra light mayo. Cup of tea-1 sugar skimmed milk.

    I had a yorkie then as my weekly treat :(

    Ive drank only around 600mls of water today again this is not a normal day for me as I was running around the place I would always have a breakfast normally porridge or else eggs scrambled or boiled. Lunch then might be a tuna salad or a sandwhich. Dinner time im finding the hardest, if i crave potatoes ill have them 2 medium but that only happens around twice a week I do like stir frys and would make a homemade curry with brown rice.. I am eating fat free yogurts most days my fruit of choice are pears but try to limit to one a day and then maybe an apple. Thanks everyone!
