    There was a load of gardai in the college yesterday evening at about 6. Does anyone know why that was?

    Funny you should mention that because I was driving across the city yesterday and noticed more squad cars in the space of an hour than in a normal week in Galway. It was weird...

    I noticed yesterday an ER (Emergency Response) Garda car (The Volvo weekenders) tucked in behind the big transformer which is on the river side of the IT Building - They were hiding and definately waiting for someone/something as you couldn't see them until you passed them.

    What rumours? That there were an awful lot of Gardai around the place? Hardly a rumour, more of an observation
