Samaritans in Clare

    The Clare and Ennis branch of the Samaritans are holding information/selection nights for potential new volunteers.
    They will be held at the Old Ground Hotel on Thursday, January 27 and Monday, January 31 with a starting time of 8pm for each.
    The Samaritans mission is to provide confidential emotional support for people who are experiencing feelings of distress and despair, including feelings that may lead to suicide.
    Members of the Samaritans come from a wide range of backgrounds and all who do go on to join the organisation will take part in a comprehensive training programme.
