facebook no longer socialable

i am beginning to find facebook is no longer friendly you can,t click to people comments on your friend wall or any one else either and you can,t see there profiles.you have search for them.

the new changes make facebook non sociable any more

you can,t see people comment just paragraph of words
you can,t click see to you friends new friends comments because they are only words
you can,t delete your own comments on some else wall.

social yeah right

does any one find this.i think other people will be aonned by this non social changes

every thing now in facebook is like a newspaper you can,t make comments on old comments or like they what they do .its just rubbish

i try to explain i look at my friend wall and some else write on her i want to click on there comment name but can,t its just word on the wall because the comment to her friend and not my friend .i don,t understand these weird .i don,t find it sociable no more

Yes you can. I look at my friend's wall, and I can click on people who commented who are not my friends. If you can't click on them, it's because those friends have set their security settings to strict

Those people don't want to interact with people who are not their friends. If they did, they would have relaxed their security settings

all of them.it happened to my comments some else no body can click on my comments on some one else one.but but i never restrict it i never go neaver go near the privacy settings yet it happned mine as well.i never strict it,

It's a wall-post containing a video which someone has liked, followed by another wall-post which someone has liked and two people have commented on. All the red lines are people's names, some of who I am friends with and some of who I'm not. I can click on any of their names. Facebook hasn't changed anything

may not on your but mine i have zero access friends of friends comments on 99.9% of them .may be it has n,t change yet on yours but it did on mine and all other people i know even my sister one as well.
i have no access to friends of friends comments i try you other friends to see if it has change it has on mine yesthderday on i have no access to friends of friends comments

Facebook hasn't changed anything. If they had, there'd be the usual outrage on blogs and tech sites. It appears to be a problem on your end. It could be with your computer or with your Facebook settings

Hey, I'm not trying to slag anyone or anything, just hopefully a bit of friendly advice.

But ladylouise, you seem to be always pressing the comma (,) symbol instead of the apostrophe (') when using words such as can't and don't. In those cases the correct symbol is the apostrophe. It is just very distracting and off-putting when reading your posts.

I hope I haven't offended you or maybe I just don't understand your reason for doing it, but I just thought I should let you know!

i can,t access my comments i made yesterday on my own wall.it just paragraph of words and Theo people facebook are the same connected to my own.all i see is paragraph of words.the friends new friends i can,t access them either its just a grey senetece .i can,t interact with my own comments either i made on own wall.what wrong with it it happen on my wall and other which is connect to mine

i try contact facebook and they did n,t fixed it it has been like that for a week

It's very hard to understand what exactly the problem you are experiencing is. The recent changes to profile layout has been subtle and there's no real difference in usability. Perhaps you can post a screen shot.

Has Facebook blocked your account or limited it?

what do you mean limited i don,t underatand i can,t click on own comments on people pages.i made comment on guy photo on it on wall .on my wall its nothing but line i can,t click on photo like i used to do.

its just line i reported to facebook and nothing has been it has been a week.

they just won,t fix it

What do you mean by a line?

Perhaps you have a virus or Facebook have limited your profile. They can block or limit your ability to use Facebook if you don't comply with their terms and conditions.

i did agrees to there conditions .how would i get virus in facebook how do i get rid of it.

It would also help if you could upload a screenshot of the problem.

Her facebook is broken and she has reported it to Facebook.

Either that or her friends have all removed her.

Unfortunately it is difficult to make out what she is saying as her written english isn't great.

OP - A screenshot would be a great help if you know how to do this

Can you please take a screenshot?

Hit the PrtScrn button, open up Paint, press Ctrl + V, use the paintbrush to draw over any names and photos you don't want us to see, go to File, Save As, give it a name, and then go to www.min.us and upload the image.

If we can see what the problem is we can help you more (hopefully..)

Probably because you posted every 5 seconds on everything and looked like a spam bot.

Here's an idea: step away from the computer. Give facebook a week to respond to your reports, not 5 minutes. They're a multi-billion dollar corporation with 600 million users, your problem is not that important to them.

And if you get your access back, you do not need to comment on everything that happens on every one of your friend's profiles

What I think is happening is - when you are in Facebook there are no longer any active links you can click, and although you can see photos and comments on your wall or others, they are appearing as an unclickable picture? Is that it?

Im not trying to be smart but unless you can post in a more legible manner I doubt many people will be able to help you. Your posts are not written properly, and the lack of correct punctuation, use of incorrect punctionation makes them very unreadable.

If you have complained to Facebook in the same manner in which you are posting here they may not have done anything because they cannot understand your complaint.

You could try setting up a new profile and seeing if this resolves your issue?

LadyLouise, looking at your boards posts, A LOT of them seem to be about you requesting to be friends with people, people refusing requests etc.


Social interaction on facebook is a very different ecosystem to that of real life. While you might think constant communication is a necessity in order to "stay friends" with people on it, it's not. In fact constant needless communication is annoying and might lead to people "un-friending" you.
Also, a lot of the time when people have 500 or more friends and aren't accepting your requests, it's not a personal rejection. Few people (in Ireland anyway) accept requests from complete strangers - those 500 people they have are likely to have some kind of connection to them (friend of a friend etc), so that's why they added them.

So on that, don't get depressed or worried about not being able to do comments etc. You seem to be panicking a bit.

On the specific problem you have with your facebook, I would suspect that due to:

A) a large number of friend requests
constant commenting or "liking" to posts made by people you are not directly friends with on facebook
C) a lack of punctuation and similarity of language to a "bot", or virus

...which could lead Facebook to thinking your account is a SPAM account. My advice is to take a break from Facebook and perhaps think of some other activities you could occupy your time with

all my recent activity . comments where you could click people names on there comments to see the full comment eg.some one made comment on my wall from yetherday but now i can,t click the person name to see full comment it just paragraph of words.like on you screen -yes on that's on my own wall.

my active links for my events or other people event who are freinds.are now dead links just inactive line-yes

where active comment used to be are now paragraph seneteces which i can,t click in to no more even on my own wall who leave comments

so all my comments,links,from other friends that are on my wall are nothing but non interactive links and paragraphs.it fine for seconds and it goes back to non active comments and links and people albums
