If true, could be a last final stunt by the Greens to try and gain some credibility back and at the same time, steal some limelight.
So far they have been the forgotten partners and shoved to the back of the crowd in regards camera lenses.

Probably just another tax or levy that will save the world and cost me money. The Greens doing anything now is just a pathetic attempt to claim some votes back in the dying days of Brian Cowen and it is quite sad.

Evil Greens have even had enough. Am I wrong or does Gormly look like the son of Satan?

Just an idea, one poster asked an op if he had attended protests last year when they really mattered. I myself could attend one, couldn't make it into Dublin city centre for others. Weather prevented me from attending at least one, childcare issues for others.

It got me thinking - I and I'm sure many citizens would gladly make it to their nearest main road, to stand in protest. Imagine if all main roads around the country were lined with people with placards of what message they want to give this govenment, for 2 to 3 hours, how visually effective that would be? Images and videos from every town, city, county could be recorded by participants and media and posted to youtube, facebook, boards.ie if permitted to show how the whole country is together in how they feel about this government, but also previous governments who got us into this mess and how we have a lack of trust in future governments if they continue like this.

I also personally, don't want to stand back and allow all those politicians who are not going to contest the next general election and future fools, recieve huge pay and pensions. I would also like the protest to include a demand from the people that their pay and pensions be brought down to industrial wage and standards or be cut by 30%. WE PAY THEM! THEY WORK FOR US! NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.

LET'S GET OUT AND PROTEST - NEAREST MAIN ROAD FOR EACH AND EVERY CITIZEN. THIS IS OUR COUNTRY.

DATE AND TIME TO BE DETERMINED

Yeah, it's all sounds a bit Winning Streakish with the ghey placards. :o

Something major is about to happen anyway, a news special coming up on RTE in about 5-10 minutes.

Heard some of the parties are going to put in a motion of no confidence in the goverment if they cant garantee the finance bill going thorough by the end of the week.

We could have an election much sooner than expected.

The greens wont pull anyones plug cause they are too far up the arses of fianna failure.

I have to say i love them. I have bets that Eamonn Ryan reherses his speeches on front of mirrors just to sound convincing.

The greens remnd me on the engineers on titanic saying it will never sink. They just failed to see the obvious...

They are more concerned about the carbon footprint than the shoe making that footprint.

    Useless bunch of fookers.

They can fook off with fianna failure.

And some TDs who voted with the government all along to keep their majority - independents and some outside the whip - may vote against this.

No, that was Cowens plan but if the greens go he would have to dissolve the Dail so we'd have an election in 3 weeks.

Let's hope not. That piece of crap needs rewritten from top to bottom.
Standard Green Party nonsense - attention-seeking, ineffectual stunts that amount to way too little, way too late.
