Crocodile > Kitchen Counter

    A precious marine animal fossil has been found in a slab of rock destined to be someone's kitchen counter. (This is not the first time such a thing has happened.)
    This time the fossils belonged to a type of sea going croc called Neptunidraco ammoniticus which belonged to the metriorhynchid family and lived in Italy during the mid Jurassic period. It was 4 meters long and is the oldest known member of it's group.
