What would you say to yourself aged 16?

I was a divil for writing letters when I was 16, (because I was angsty and misunderstood and obviously no one had ever felt pain like I felt pain.)

Found some today and it was very enlightening to read about some of the crap that I felt was mega, mega important at the time and how little it means to me now.

SO, my question is; if you could go back in time, imbued with all the wisdom that comes with age, what advice would you give to your spotty, hormonal self?

I think I would say to me: "1. Take care of your body/hair/teeth because you'll be on a diet from the day you turn 20. 2. Don't let boys treat you badly, even though I know you will. 3. Remember, everything will pass but the things that we hold on to tell us what we are."

- Don't go to college, you'll hate it and wish you'd never gone.

- Keep doing the daily walks and jogs, you might actually lose a few pounds.

- You're not going to get any taller, so don't get too excited about your thought of being 6' 2''. You'll remain 5' 9'' forever.

I'd tell myself not to leave school to do a FAS training course, because you'll be bullied as badly there and won't even learn anything. Also don't spend the entire miniscule amount of money you make out of the course on NWA and Ice T CDs because in a couple of years time you'll grow out of listening to rap.

More importantly I'd tell myself to appreciate my father because he won't be around forever.

Yeah, that's why I don't post much on these threads.
I could say "don't do this" or "don't do that" but a lot of what has happened has made me who I am, and I like who I am, so there's no point.
