Network hardware/software audit ?

    Hi guys,

I've been asked to do a network hardware software audit for a friend's small office (11 users & one server). Is there a free piece of software I can install on the server (or run from my laptop which will be on the network) & gather the information automatically or do I have to do a manual visit to each workstation.

I'd need to know what software is installed on each system, if it's up to date & licenced.

I'll also need to find out wether there are audio/video files which may have been downloaded or come in via email & been stored.

I'll also need it to do a report for me or allow me to gather the information into a report.

    Any recommendations ?

Also is there any software which will report on productivity eg how long someone is spending online or in word or in email etc ?

    Thanks in advance
