    Does anyone have any experience with this crowd, and is it dodgy.

    A yes or no will suffice.

    Already having trouble finding out about them and their location sent me sniffing about.

    Please don't just reply "yes".

    Refer to this section of the charter, if you're not sure why I'm saying this.

    If anyone can share specific, factual (not emotive) information about the company, or even about other companies operating from the same address, feel free. But stick very firmly to FACTS.

    And please remember that just because a certain type of job is unpopular, that doesn't make the company "dodgy". There are people who make a living doing commission sales - and some of them even like what they do.

    I have worked there myself last summer and loved it! I got to travel abroad, made good money and had a good crack! They do sales in shopping centres around Dublin city mainly, but you also have an opportunity to travel around the country. I would definitely recommend if you need experience in sales or money.     OP - best thing to do is read this thread and make an informed decision if you want to give this a go.
    Note that there is a tendency that those who write posts defending/supporting these sort of companies are people with very low post counts ( such as that above ). Make of that what you will ;).

    Thanks for the link, yes I've just signed up to the board.ie, nothing wrong with that, is it? In regards to the link, it seems there are some door to door companies misleading, but the one I have worked for was in shopping centres so no point to pre-judge all of sales companies in the city, because of bad experiences with others...

    Are they not the same companies though? I worked for one for 3 weeks about 12 years ago, they didnt see any difference between selling to a housing estate and selling to the shops in a shopping center

    I dont see how the number of posts someone would have anything to do with the topic. It might surprise you but some people dont spend all there time on this you know.....

    This is an old thread, OP has what s/he wanted, so I'm locking it.

    fyi, the issue isn't so much low post counts as that the posters who sing the virtues of these companies tend to have only registered for the first time very shortly before making the post.
