go out and buy Parliment's-The Motor Booty Affair(1978) or Curtis Mayfield's-Live at the Bitter End, NYC(early 70s) or Fishbone's-In Your Face(1986) all very very funky.........

yeah it funks, but his stuff is too disco-funk i always thought, the **** on p-funk's Cosmic Slop, Standing on the Verge, Mothership connection, Motor booty, etc is the real deal dirty space funk that slides like an eel through seaweed, bootsy is the master, eddie on guitar, w Fred on horns, Bernie on the keys and starchild in the captains seat get ready for
