You can change it in Thread Display options in the User Control Panel. No option for 15 but mine is set to Forum Default, so I guess that's where it comes from.

Try it. The default will look hideous and tacky in comparison, and there'll be no going back.

EDIT: Might have been a little hasty there with the superlative. Seems a switch to Chrome might provide an even slicker experience:
