It was terrible. She was a liar, cheater and clearly had mental issues. Ahhhh ... to be young and stupid :) If the same happened now i'd kick her to the curb as soon as I got the signs.

Give us a bit of input yourself there Geordie. Maybe an opinion or story of your own on the matter. Anything at all to go on.

Loads of fuzzy feelings, heart pounding every time I saw him and heart shattering when we split. Lots of mixed emotions :)

I had a crush on him for years and eventually we got together, not for too long but it was amazing at the time :p We stopped seeing each other and stayed friends instead :) It all worked out for the better :D

My first love was a 'he', but yeah, him shagging his wife must be like throwing a sausage down O'Connell Street.

I try not to think about it *shudders*

It was your classic love story: boy meets girl, boy loses girl, girl gets another boy, boy thinks of girl, girl dies in a tragic car accident while trying to swat a fly on the windscreen

Boards.ie is a strange place to come looking for titillation.

I recommend one of the internet's very fine pornography emporiums for the fleshy delights you seek.

I was drunk and stumbling home during my gaeltacht summer holiday when I was 13. The moon light bounced off the snout of the most beautiful creature I've ever seen. With her thick coat caught up in a barbed wire fence I was entranced listening to her sing some of her most famous tunes while trying to struggle free.

Only Stevie Nicks and I will remember the details of that glorious, heavenly night. I've never been able to listen to a Fleetwood Mac song ever since! :(

I dunno. It seems to me a lot of people do the whole, "Ah no, I didn't love him/her, not really!" after they break up with someone. I'm guilty of it myself, but I kinda think that maybe, after time passes, people just forget how absolutely crazy they used to be about a person.

Which means she could be both at the same time...

Hmm... I've lost all contact details to check... So just like Schrodinger's cat, we'll leave her as probably dead and alive as well...

Its hard for me to see her in a positive light... Probably cuz I wasted too much time and money behind her and she was an ungrateful b*ch all the time!! Ah well, that was a long time ago and I've also pretty much forgotten what she even looks like at this stage! It was just one of those teenage things. You know its all new and screw up big time and then realise how much of a twat you've been but then later look back and realise its all for the good you aren't with her anymore.

I guess its sorta why I'm scared of confronting my last gf. We both had very strong feelings for each other and although we separated, the feelings couldn't really go away for a long long time. Its good she lives in Scotland... Like its been a good while since it ended and I haven't spoken to her in a long time. She even contacted me last year on facebook but I ignored her cuz I know getting back in contact will her will eventually lead us down the same slippery slope which got us together in the first place. But I don't wanna go back there. Its better for the both of us that way.

or you realise that you were so blinded by the illusion of a relationship that you confused it with love and couldn't see the many flaws they had! :)

It was really brilliant! Some really great times, very few bad times, except all the times we broke up :( And I think you know that it was love by how you felt after it ended. And I'm still a mess, so I know I really loved him.
