Ive heard so much conflicting information on what is ok and not ok on a candida diet.Anyone here who has been on one and recovered? Whats your views on goats produce on the diet?
Ive read that its recommended to go for unpasturised, which i cannot find.
What is wrong with pasturised goats products?:D

I have had candida the last 12 years, only the last year or two had i discovered it myself and cured it more or less with the diet.
I didnt even bother to look into goats milk i just stopped using dairy fullstop.
My incentive was the lactose and i hear niacin is in dairy too which i was lead to believe causes mucuss buildup.Since taking in nutrients is limited with candida i think its important not to clog up your system with that kind of stuff untill you are at least recovered.
And even then you have to be very aware of how your body is feeling and reacting after you introduce a new item into your diet.

What i found was that you can only take so much info from all these websites and blogs.
You need to put it into practise by starting from the ground up again.
As some people will get more of a reaction from stuff that others might not.
I attempted to substitute white rice for brown to get more complex carbs, but it wasnt enough.
So if you want to do this right its going to be a struggle for the first while. With me it took about a year on and off rebounding before i got to where i am now.
Which is like a primal diet(not raw meat though).

When i first cut out all carbs i was making stews without potatoes and lots of greens instead(yeast free stock cubes help). That way during withdrawal when i was weak hungry and tired i could just pour some pre made stew into a pot and heat it up.
I lost a LOT of weight though and i am trying to put it back on again now.

These days im very active so im eating alot of meat and tons of salads.
For the first time since i was a child i can eat eggs again! so i know my leaky gut is fixed.

I did however eat alot of probiotic yogurt.
Used to buy the plain glenisk tubs and have that with blueberries as they are antioxidants.
Also health food stores do pro biotics capsules you keep in your fridge which would be extremelyt helpfull in keeping the flora more balanced in your gut.
Id reccommend lots of greens(folic acid) and salads to keep regular.

Sorry i dont really know alot on goats milk or cheese etc but anyway i am flying along now and hope you get there soon too :)

Dont kick yourself if you cant stick to it.Eventually your taste buds will get used to what appears bland food and youl find sugary overly sweet.
The only thing i drink now is pints of water with sliced lemons in it.
And the odd glass of wine like right now :D
